JobHunt Xpert is a small, independently-run product. This page explains what data it collects and why, in plain language.
What is collected
- Google account info — when you sign in with Google, JobHunt Xpert receives your name, email address, and profile photo, used only to identify your account.
- Application data you enter — everything you type into the tracker (companies, roles, notes, interview details, and similar) is stored so it's there the next time you sign in, and synced across your devices.
- Basic usage analytics — the marketing site (not the app itself) uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (e.g. how many people visit, which pages). No application data is sent to Analytics.
How it's used
Your data is used exclusively to run the product for you: storing and syncing your applications, and identifying your paid account. It is never sold, rented, or shared with advertisers, and no ad tracking is embedded in the app.
Where it's stored
Application data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), under infrastructure operated by Google Cloud. Access is restricted to your own signed-in account via server-side security rules — no other user can read or write your data.
Your data, your control
- Export anytime — the app can export everything you've entered to CSV or JSON, at any time, from the toolbar.
- Delete anytime — you can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the user menu inside the app. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
